Meet our Students

Our geo-science and environmental science students hail from a wide range of institutions and disciplines. All are interested in scientific research and are participating in our study of biogeochemical processes in northern upland and wetland ecosystems.

Chemistry/Public Administration major

While in Abisko, Sweden, my primary research goal is to study the dynamics of carbon dioxide exchange and methane flux during respiration.

With the increasing concern over climate change, I plan to learn about the potential role plants play in the carbon budget, which could enhance our knowledge of future carbon budgets and the feedback of climate warming in the Swedish sub-Arctic.
